Phelps County Access Laws

When a record is sealed or confidential, public search is not the right route. Access usually requires a party request, a court order, or a petition filed in the court that controls the record.

Municipal and federal distinctions matter. Rolla Municipal Court handles City of Rolla ordinance cases at 901 North Elm Street, City Hall, 2nd Floor, and Case.net may support eligible payments. St. James Municipal Court has been abolished, and new cases or trials route to Phelps County Court at 200 N. Main Street. Federal civil, criminal, bankruptcy, and appellate cases from Phelps County are not in Case.net; use the Eastern District of Missouri, PACER, or federal CM/ECF.
